The Billy Boots Art Texas Tour - PreTrip to Brownwood, TX June 13-14, 2014
This was the route for the pre-trip for the Billy Boots Art Texas Tour. To get my feet wet traveling and seeing what I can see and whom I could meet I made stops in Hempstead, Navasota, College Station -A&M and George Bush Presidential Library, Hearne, Temple, Fort Hood, Gatesville, Goldthwaite, Brownsville.
If you are not familiar with my work besides boots, I have a passion for taking photos of coffee and cones in various places. I spotted this cone in College Station as I left town.

Stopped on Friday in Temple, TX at the local Dairy Queen. I had a salad and no ice cream.
While visiting the Collier Family in Goldthwaite, TX, I spotted an old painting I did and gifted to the family in 1999. It was the Yellow Rose of Texas which represented Oleta Collier, the mother and the three roses behind her represent Glynn, her husband, Tommy, their son, and Kay, their daughter. It was great to revisit this.
